Lift Safe are please to supply a lifter to assist in the loading and unloading of bags of fluid for haemofiltration machines in the ITU. Loading and unloading the bags can be awkward as the bags are suspended up and under the machines, causing hospital staff to bend down awkwardly to access them. By using this lifter, the boxes of fluid can be loaded on the platform from the stores area, wheeled into the ITU, removed from the box and presented towards the machine.
The operator
then raises the platform of the lifter with the
bag on it up to where the hooks are to hold the bag.
Without lifting the bag, the operator connects the bag to
the hooks and then lowers the platform away and backs
away from the machine.
This lifter eliminates
the kneeling and bending for the
operator, causing less back strain and reducing the risk of
