Mission Foods have recently purchased five Lift Safe
compact reel lifters for their County Durham deli wrap
manufacturing facility.
They have switched from using 25kg packaging reels on
their production line and increased them to 50kg. This
allows the production lines to run twice as long before
the operator needs to change a reel therefore being much
more productive and cost effective for their business.
Having the larger reels on site does create manual handling
issues however having a Lift Safe reel lifter on each line
prevents any manual effort by the operator when changing
the larger reels as the machines takes the strain rather
than the operator.
These lifters are compact but strong and can come with a
range of different attachments custom built to fit in with
your application.
Edinburgh Smoked Salmon have just purchased a new
Armanni Powered Lifter for lifting and transporting their
smoked salmon cages from the production area in to the
smoke ovens.
This process used to be done manually which was putting a
lot of strains on the work force due to the weight of the
cages and the wet, cold environment they were being used
in.
Our lifter was supplied with wet room wheels to allow
great traction and fitted with cold use steering grease to
allow them to operate the machine at cold temperatures.
